Wiper Repair

My Repair List

In April 2000, I bought a 1975 BMW 2002. It's a very sweet car that I drove regularly until this summer. Like most cars this old, it needed quite a few small fixes when I got it. The links above cover what I've currently learned about the 2002. Check out my photos of the wiper repair. I've also replaced the exhaust with an Ansa exhaust, put on 8mm spark plug wires, a Pertronix points conversion, new plugs, adjusted the valves, fussed with the carb, replaced the hazard light switch, put in a new turn/hi-lo switch, fixed the seat back release, replaced at least one of the emergency brake cables, replaced the front anti-sway bar bushings, replaced the front panhard rod bushings, had a good used transmission installed, replaced the driver side door vapor barrier and lubricated the window mechanism.

I've bought a few books that I think you'll enjoy. Visit my Book Reviews page.

Nice book. If you have a fine 2002 you are trying to keep on the road, but it has normal wear and tear (like my 2002) - this is a great book for you. It is loaded with chapters about particular repair and maintenance problems. It is well illustrated with black and white photos. I just recently bought this, so I'll read through it and write a detailed review. My initial impression is that every 2002 owner should have a copy.
